Cancellations after the 48 hours, but at least 15 days prior to reservation arrival are eligible for a refund of the deposit minus a $75.00 cancellation fee and the initial 3% credit card processing fee. Cancellations within 15 days of reservation arrival date forfeit the deposit.  Failure to check-in (aka No Show) to a reservation forfeits the deposit. Reservations made for arrivals sooner than 15 days will forfeit the deposit if canceled. There are no refunds or credits for early departures once a guest has checked-in.

Reservations for Events or holidays forfeit deposit if canceled beyond the 48 hour grace period.

• Holidays & Events include: Easter Weekend, Presidents Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Songwriters Festival, Memorial Day weekend, Pride Week, Fantasy Fest Week, Christmas and New Years, Offshore Boat Race Week

**Choosing to book with a promotion or discounted non-refundable deposit rate voids the standard cancellation policy above and voids all deposit refund options.

1. Please note that you must be with the service dog at all times – you may not leave it alone at any time, including in your room. Leaving your dog in your room unattended will result in being asked to leave the resort without refund.
2. The service dog must be under control at all times, and the dog must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or your disability prevents you from using these devices. 3. You agree that you are responsible for care and feeding of your dog and for cleaning up after your dog. Staff will not perform these services.
4. In the event that your dog is out of control and you do not take timely, effective action to control it, or your dog is not housebroken, we may ask you to leave. Before doing so, we will offer you an opportunity to enjoy our goods and services in the absence of the dog.
5. We do not charge a fee for cleaning up after your service dog, but we charge all guests for any damage done to the property, including damage to the property caused by you or by your service dog.

We look forward to serving you during your stay with us. Feel free to contact our General Manager (gm@bishopkeywest.com) if you have any questions.

The Bishop Key West follows the standard protocol as most hotels in the Florida Keys when it comes to hurricanes and tropical storms. Should the City of Key West or Monroe County be placed on a Hurricane Warning or a Mandatory Evacuation order, then we will follow the below protocol. [Evacuations orders are usually given 2-3 days in advance of a storm]

Guest Currently On Site
Guest currently on site will be issued a refund for any unused days from the day of their departure due to an Evacuation Order. We will do our best to assist, but It will be the guests responsibility to secure a means of evacuation as the hotel will close on the afternoon that the evacuation order date takes effect.

Scheduled Arriving Guests
Any scheduled arrivals from the date of the Evacuation order to 4 days after the evacuation order will be cancelled, refunded and notified via phone and email. Aside from the mandatory evacuation order we will not provide refund for cancellations due to speculation or expected inclement weather outside of Hurricane Force Winds.

Flight Cancellations
If Key West is not placed on an evacuation order, but your flight is cancelled (not delayed) due to impending storms, you will be asked for forward you flight cancellation notice noting the cancellation due to weather to info@bishopkeywest.com. Legitimate weather cancellations (not delays) will be issued a refund of their deposit.

Post-Hurricane / Tropical Event
Post-Hurricane, the City of Key West determines when the Florida Keys are officially reopened. This is determined by the impact of the storm on the infrastructure. Cancellations and refunds will be processed on a day-to-day basis based on the City’s evaluation. If you reach out to us after a hurricane and receive no response, it is likely due to internet of phone communication issues. Rest assured, the moment connectivity is returned we will be reaching out to guests and processing any required cancellations and refunds.
